Accurate determination of the direction of the trend (and its availability) is the most important factor of successful trading in any financial market, and one of the most popular and proven tools for solving this problem are moving averages. But, like all technical analysis, they are lagged and there is always a risk of entering not at the beginning, but in the middle or even at the end of the movement. This time we will consider a unique trend indicator Trend Focus, which, in the opinion of its authors, effectively compensates for the lagging behind moving averages.

Before proceeding to the rules of trading on the signals of this instrument, I draw your attention to this fact: on the official website of the indicator states that one of the main advantages of Trend Focus is the lack of repainting. Now it is a popular advertising slogan, which is written everywhere and people are absolutely not versed in the subject matter. So, moving averages are not repainted, but simply follow the price.

Trading rules are very simple. Blue up arrow - Buy, red arrow down - Sell. Exit when changing signal to the opposite.

BUY:

No matter how convincing the developers are to us, the moving averages will always give false signals during the periods of flat on Forex. It does not matter free or paid trend indicator - you can use it only in trend areas. From this fact there is an eternal problem - is there a trend or not? This is determined only by additional technical tools, without which you can not use moving averages. In the case of Trend Focus, if you just open positions on the arrows, you can quickly lose the deposit, this leads to the fact that you can not use only one such tool for trading, only in combination with others indicators and just to confirm the signal.

    hey bro hope you are well,, if i may ask, why is it that all the indicators that we download are not appearing in our indicators list. not a single one of them are actually showing in the list. I've copy and past it in my data files and i have cut it and pasted it in my data files but still nothing.

    I know its free downloads thanks, but if the files are missing then why bother making a download link in the 1st place, its like if we were to pay for these files we would have been scammed.
