EA Happy Gold – golden grail for the trader
EA Happy Gold is intended mainly for trading on the XAUUSD pair on the M15, M30 and H1 timeframes. The EA does not use dangerous trading methods such as Martingale, grid, hedging, averaging and others, and at the same time it shows good results. It has a low drawdown with medium trading risks. And it is sold bundled with other equally interesting advisers for €299.

Trading algorithm
To enter the market, EA Happy Gold uses a modified ZigZag indicator, at the top of which it places pending orders with fixed TP and SL. When one of the orders is triggered, the other order is removed, and the EA accompanies the open position by trailing with a dynamic TakeProfit:
Backtests of the Happy Gold MT4 Robot
I have tested this EA with different Risk settings in time frames from 2017 to 2022 with 99.9% modeling quality:
Risk = 0
Risk = 1
Risk = 5
Risk = 20
As you can see, I only used the TimeFrame M30, since the tests on other TFs were unsatisfactory. Apparently these settings, which are set by default, are optimized only for the M30. Of course, you can optimize for other timeframes, but this will take a lot of time.
The tests show that the highest profit corresponds to the highest risk and, as a result, has the highest drawdown. Therefore, for the safety of your capital, I do not recommend using Risk > 5.

Settings
When installing an EA on a chart or when changing timeframes, an alert appears with a message about the key:
But no key is needed for the EA to work. However, if this confuses you, you can purchase a license and many bonuses from the developers at this link.
The EA settings are already pre-optimized to the maximum for the M30, but you can change anything at your discretion.
- Magic - a unique random Magic Number enables Happy Gold to distinguish its open trade positions from those that were entered by other robots, or done manually. Any number is acceptable as long is not the same number used by any other robot running on this MetaTrader Platform. You can change this number to any number you like to help hide the identity of your robot from your broker-dealer.
- FilterSpread - on/off the spread filter, when the values specified below are exceeded, the EA stops trading and does not open new orders.
- MaxAverageSpread - the maximum spread value for activating FilterSpread, at which the EA stops trading.
- SpreadTooHighDeleteOrderMin - the number of orders to be closed when the spread exceeds the value set in MaxAverageSpread.
- IntervalMin - the interval after which the EA will trade again if the spread does not exceed MaxAverageSpread.
- LotVar - when you set the LotVar at 0 EA will use FixLot.
- Risk - the percentage of your account risked per trade based on account (Setting: 1% - low; 3% - medium; 5% - high).
- FixLot - size of the first open lot.
- UseTrailingStop - turn on or off (Default setting = true).
- TrailingStop - allows you to automatically protect the profits with your positions (Default setting = 20).
- UseVirtualTrailingStop - turn on or off virtual trailing stop (Default = false).
- VirtualTrailingStop - Stop Loss size for Trailing Stop (Default = 20).
- VirtualTrailingStart - value at which Trailing Stop is enabled (Default = 20).
- VirtualTrailingStep - here it is perfectly clear - this is the Trailing Stop step (Default = 1).
- UseBreakEven - turn on or off (Default setting = true).
- BreakEven - this refers to the minimum no. of pips in profit that is required prior to changing the order's stoploss to the order's entry price (Default setting = 10).
- StopLoss - Stop Loss for each individual Order (Default setting = 240).
- TakeProfit - Take Profit of each individual Order (Default setting = 1000).
- ShowInfo - show info dashboard (Default setting = true).
- DisplayFont - font size in info dashboard (Default setting = 15).
- TextColor - text color in info dashboard.
- Email - sends email at the opening and closing trade (Default setting = false).
- AutoGMT - automatic synchronization of MT4 platform time with GMT.
- GMTOffset - broker's time offset relative to GMT. Set if AutoGMT=false.

A few recommendations
- Timely fixation and withdrawal of the profit earned by the adviser in order to prevent the loss of all money in the account.
- Do not invest money that you are not ready to lose, so that later it will not be excruciatingly painful.
- Do not use aggressive settings that increase the risk of losing your deposit.
- Use a reliable broker with a low spread.
- Insure yourself against possible loss of connection with your trading account by installing an advisor on a VPS.
